28 Worcester Ln., Waltham, MA Worcester House

The Philosophy Foundation’s home is Worcester House, an historic building located at 28 Worcester Lane, Waltham, Massachusetts. This is the site for most of our classes, meetings, lectures and musical events. It is conveniently located just off Route 128.

Between walking distance and schedule, there is no convenient public transportation, even though the Commuter rail stops in dowtown Waltham and there are bus routes nearby. Some students have successfully coordinated a combination of public transportation and carpooling.

Directions from Route 128 (US Route 95):

Worcester Lane, Waltham, MA, is bounded by Rte. 95/128, Rte. 117, Lexington and Totten Pond.

1. Take Exit 27, Totten Pond Road, off of Route 128. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right towards Boston/Waltham.
   
   
2. Continue on Totten Pond Road for about 2 miles until it ends, getting into the right lane. Totten Pond Road ends at a traffic light at the intersection of Lexington Street and Bacon Street. You are now within 150 feet of The Philosophy Foundation, but you need to make a couple of turns to get there.
   
   
3. Make a very sharp right turn onto Bacon Street and then, almost immediately, make a right turn onto Worcester Lane.
   
   
4. The Philosophy Foundation, Worcester House, is the second house on the left, 28 Worcester Lane. It is a white, three-story, Greek-revival house with a large gravel parking lot in front.
