Sanskrit Retreat at Hill House
The retreat includes morning meditation, quiet time, study and sounding of verses from the Upanishads, sounding Sanskrit prayers, calligraphy, and Sanskrit conversation. Enjoy the company of others interested in exploring Man's original language. No previous Sanskrit experience necessary. Evening satsangas for sharing observations and insights. If sufficient interest, study of Sanskrit grammarian Panini, and the laws of creation reflected in the language's uniques structure and grammar. Ample afternoon time for private study, quiet reflection and solitude, a swim, or a stroll in this beautiful wooded site overlooking Halfway Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Dormitory style accommodations. Vegetarian meals of freshest ingredients communally prepared and served.
